RYA Day Skipper Theory
The shorebased foundation in navigation, meteorology and seamanship that every skipper needs.
The RYA Day Skipper Theory course covers chartwork, position fixing, tides, meteorology, COLREGS and passage planning — everything you need to skipper a small yacht in familiar waters by day.
We run intensive in-person blocks at our Fornells base and can also support distance-learning students with one-to-one tutoring sessions.
