RYA Professional Practices and Responsibilities (PPR)
The mandatory course for RYA commercial endorsement, covering the legal and professional duties of working skippers.
The RYA PPR course covers maritime law, safety management, pollution prevention, crew welfare, drugs and alcohol policies, commercial regulations and the responsibilities of a professional skipper.
It is the standard required for any RYA certificate of competence used commercially, including Yachtmaster Coastal and Offshore endorsements.
